Jamie McLennan kicked off hour two with an in-depth breakdown of the Edmonton Oilers. “Noodles” analyzed Edmonton’s shootout loss in New Jersey, pinpointing the key factors that led to the outcome while praising the team’s encouraging trend in net. He evaluated Jake Walman’s return to the lineup and what his role looks like moving forward, before reflecting on Ryan Nugent-Hopkins’ historic milestone after breaking the franchise record for all-time games played. McLennan also weighed in on whether Leon Draisaitl should remain a primary shootout option. To cap off his segment, Noodles reacted to the wild, late-game collapse on Tuesday night that saw Winnipeg mount a stunning comeback against Montreal.
Right after Noodles, we quickly hit our MMMMMM That’s Good segment presented by The Italian Centre Shop. How good was it to watch Nuge make Oilers history last night.
We then gave our Early Bird Bet presented by Play Alberta.
Hour two was finished with plenty of time discussion and our advice for Damon Bunting and The Agency.
