Bruce Boudreau kicked off today’s guest lineup with an in-depth breakdown of the Edmonton Oilers, starting with a preview of tonight’s matchup against the young, high-flying Anaheim Ducks. Boudreau evaluated what to expect from Edmonton as they return home following a lengthy road swing and outlined the key challenges Anaheim presents. Turning to player personnel, Bruce shared his perspective on Jake Walman’s recent play and offered his recommendation on how the Oilers should manage his role moving forward. Additionally, Boudreau addressed whether Leon Draisaitl should remain in Edmonton’s shootout rotation and weighed in on the trade speculation surrounding Tampa Bay’s Nikita Kucherov. To cap off the hit, Bruce reacted to Winnipeg’s stunning late-game comeback over Montreal, evaluating whether a collapse of that magnitude could have lasting effects on the Canadiens.
We then gave our Early Bird Bet presented by Play Alberta.
In the middle of hour two we got into I Got Beef! Some very relatable beefs from the boys today.
The boys then capped off the hour with Reid Wilkins. He gave us his beef, his thoughts on the Elks game this Saturday and what he expects from the Oilers tonight against the Ducks.
