Jamie McLennan kicked off today’s guest lineup to break down the Oilers’ 4-0 Battle of Alberta victory. McLennan categorized Edmonton’s performance as professional, tidy, and composed. Drawing on his experience as a former NHL netminder, “Noodles” provided expert analysis on Devin Cooley’s crease collision and subsequent exit from the game. He also evaluated Colton Dach’s potential to transition into a top-six forward role down the road. Looking ahead to Edmonton’s three-game road trip, McLennan outlined his expectations for the trip and offered his take on the goaltending rotation, before closing with entertaining stories about the wild-card teammates he played with and a quick spin around the Canadian goaltending landscape in Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa.
We then gave our Early Bird Bet presented by Play Alberta.
After the break, the fellas gave their beefs from the week. Good beefs from the boys as per usual.
Reid Wilkins capped off hour two with his beef, some questions for the boys and some positives on last night’s Oilers win over the Flames.
