TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger kicked off today’s show by diving straight into the Oilers’ opening trio of games, weighing the early positives and negatives. Dreger also provided an update on a weekend trade rumor tracking a young center out East, gave his take on Devon Levi’s second outing, and projected who should get the nod in net next. Plus, he weighed in on rookie Owen Michaels’ early NHL action and touched on the difficult environment brewing in Detroit right now.
We then gave our Early Bird Bet presented by Play Alberta.
Chris Streveler joined us in the middle of the hour to recap all of the games in CFL Week 18.
Our jam packed second hour of today’s show wrapped up with Mike Tanier. He stopped by for a full NFL Week 4 recap, touching on all the major headlines as well as a Monday night preview that sees the Saints host the Falcons.
