It’s a jam-packed edition of The Oil Stream as the boys break down everything that transpired over the weekend for the Edmonton Oilers. The fellas recap the big game that saw the Oilers gain ground on the team they’re chasing in the standings and discuss what’s been driving their recent success. From a much-improved defensive effort to how the forward lines are clicking, there’s a lot to like right now. They also dive into the continued emergence of Matt Savoie and what his play could mean for this team down the stretch. Plus, a look around the league as John Tortorella is reportedly set to take over behind the bench for the Vegas Golden Knights, and what that could mean moving forward.
