We have an all-star lineup of guests on today’s show, with Murray McCourt connecting with his good friend and recently retired sportscaster Kevin Karius!
Karius visits EST’s studio to remember his long and storied career in sports media. He was an anchor at Global Edmonton for over 20 years and spent the past few years in radio. Of course, the guys talk some golf, with both Murray and Kevin having endless stories of playing together each Sunday.
Then, Bob Weeks makes his appearance during the final two segments of the show to tap into the Open Championship. Who might be overrated entering the tournament? What’s his favourite Open Championship memory? He explores some other topics during his extended interview as well… Will LIV still be a thing in the near future? If it dissolved, should the PGA Tour allow golfers who jumped ship back on the tour? If he could change one thing on the tour, what would he do?
McCourt also brings in a golf psychologist to talk about the game from a mental perspective. Vanessa Iceton tells us how golfers can build lasting confidence. And what pre-round routine should golfers add to their preparation to keep sharp between the ears? Iceton shares her thoughts.
Of course, Murray has his Rant of the Week; Dunc Mills delivers the Junior Golf Report, and then we have some trivia to fill the gaps on the program! Plus, Adam Wisser from The Ranch checks in to chat about the big things going on at the course this season.
Today’s guests:
Kevin Karius - Retired sportscaster
Bob Weeks - TSN
Vanessa Iceton - Psychologist, Pearl Psychological
Dunc Mills - Junior Golf Report

The VIP Golf Show is presented by Ardent Roof Systems!
